I have to admit I’m a bit baffled, as I’ve used this company’s screen protectors on multiple other devices.
This one, however, was kind of a nightmare.
Problems included:
– The dust removal sticker had adhesive so strong it stuck to the screen and came off in pieces, which completely ruined all the cleaning as it left sticky residue all over the screen.
– The cleaning cloth left lint everywhere.
– The cloth to wipe the lint away somehow also left lint all over the screen, not to mention streaks. I had to grab the cloth from the one that came with the iPad screen protector to get around that.
– The guide stickers didn’t. The adhesive was so weak on them they kept falling off which made it nearly impossible to put the screen protector on straight. I ended up having to use scotch tape instead.
– The protector wouldn’t adhere. At all. Peeled the back off, the center stuck, the edges and parts on the screen near the corner of the display wouldn’t stick. This was evident when trying to smooth/press the protector down and you could very literally watch it un-stick itself and raise up into a bubble again.
I ended up taking the whole thing off and will either risk damage to my Kindle screen or go with a different brand because this brand’s Kindle protector was nothing short of disappointing.
The only upside is, because the protector wouldn’t adhere to the device, it was super easy to remove.
